got rearendeed by an 85' tercel, DAMIIITTTT!!!!!
anyway just wondering, i havent been in an accident before, and it wasn't my fault (he got the ticket), do i still have to pay the deductible in order to repair this?, and can i request they use an original acura bumper?

oh...1 more question, about how much do you think it will cost to fix? thanks in advance

just call your insurance company and tell them what happened.

they other company should pick it up. and yes, you can request all OEM parts.

 

you may be able to reuse that bumper but your insurance will NOT have to pay, if the other gentleman was issued the violation then that deems the fault of the accident on him, he / his insurane will have to pay, unless he is uninsured then yours will have to pick up the tab, in any case, this "should" not increase your premiums if they do have to pay in a uninsured motorist situation, HTHs

Good estimate, look at another 1-200 depending on the shop. I purchased a brand new rear bumper from ahmotor.com and got quoted another 4-500 for paint/install. Good luck with everything.

The insurance agency gave me 1400 when someone rearended me. I bought the parts at a junkyard for 350 and repainted the whole car.

 

hey that DC5 'integra' emblem doesn't look half bad. Kinda repetitive with your ITR sticker, but it still looks nice.

 

I did almost identical damage to my rear bumper. Take it off and push it out. It won't be 100% like new but it will look a hell of a lot better than that.

 

i'm just curious what other bumper do you think they would put??

 

Pop it out and install a euro fog light or just move the license plate to cover it

 

make sure you keep your OEM rear lip, those are hard to find.

No problem...you can easily pop that back out and it won't be too bad. Just get underneath and smack it with something. Same thing happened to my teggy.
