Car won't star after swap
okay so i just finished up my swap in my 91 lx from f22a1 - f22a4 and i cant get me car to start. a couple days before i wired everything up and attempted to start her but the battery was low so i only heard the start clicking but the accessories inside work blower fan windshield wipers, i thought i was good to go. i had been waiting for a bolt for my fuel rail so never tried to start here for like a week. now when i try to start her nothing happens and none of the accessories work as well, i plugged my batter to a charger and it says its fine fully charged. and i had no previous issues with my battery.
its getting pretty chilling over here ranging from -3 to 10 C could the water bee frozen?. im thinking its getting no fuel but that wouldnt account for accessories not working, possible ground? i am also working outside so there is a possibility some punk kid may have tampered with it because my tarp was laying on floor when got home one day and none of my buddies said they touched it, but lets give those kids the benefit of the doubt.
i want to here what you guys say before i go out to buy another battery.

i checked the spark, looks like im getting none, i put a screwdriver up against the plugs and cranked her but nothing, confident im getting gas, getting a cel that flickers, not completely going out but flickering slight off and on and it makes the sound of electricity crackling. when i short the jumper nothing happens so where would i go for here , some one help me out.
lols did you even read my post? where did i mention h22, i have a 1991 LX cb7 swapped lx (f22a1) to EX (f22a4), just for DD.

I would say it probably is the ECU ground, as you stated the CEL flickers but not completely going out.

no i still have the car jacked up on all 4s just in case i have to go under. plus the car is in the back with the only exit out of my alley is through 5 speed bumps ...
any one have a list of all the ground or a source i can use to compare to ?

There are multiple ground locations; however, the ECU ground will cause many of the symptoms you are describing, e.g., no start, CEL doesn't go out completely within a few seconds, etc.
grounds...
fuse box
thermostat
radiator fan
engine ground
tranny ground
battery ground
iv never seen an ecu ground. other than just having it touch the chassis bolted it.
its layed on my rug matt as we street tune all the time...so..idk
check all wires in the dizzy area too. see if the wires came off the coil or your rotor popped off....(it happens)

ECU ground is shown in the link I posted above and here again: http://techauto.awardspace.com/ecu.html
for sure that's it!!!! i was wondering what that bolt was for coming out of the thermostat, this is what happens when it takes you 1 month 1/2 to do the swap ... ill try it out tonight when i get home hopefully that's the only reason why its not starting. and is the ground wire on the engine harness ?
for my information: does anyone know why a missing ground could cause the car not to start? the only thing i can i think of is that the ecu or components aren't getting the correct voltages. what you say?

Without a ground the electrical circuit is incomplete. You may have had the electrical system trying to earth through something like the radiator cooling fan (have seen that with a recent build), but the circuit would have been weak due to the correct earthing not being there.
i could honestly kiss you right now redbull-1, it started right up!! the rpm's are fluctuating so im not in the clear yet. i know the tb is a little dirty so ill try cleaning that. im done for the night ill go again tomorrow after work. ill make a new thread for the fluctuating idle but there are already alot so ill see.
RPM's fluctuating should be relatively simple to fix. Will either be a vacume leak or a air bubble in the cooling system. Spray some water on the air hoses to check for leaks, and if there are none just bleed the cooling system of air trapped in it.
really... i never knew air in the cooling system could cause that, i thought it could only cause over heating, i know for a fact i never bled the system just dropped some coolant in for the 1st go. ill try that 1st before cleaning the tb and inspecting pcv.
