Default kidracing "krusher" header help! fitment

ok i just picked up a megan racing mid pipe for my ep3 with a k20a3 and i plan on using my stock alxeback since its a pretty well flowing one to most aftermarket ones., but my problem is that is the kidracing racing header design for are chassis? will fit right in when i bolt it up or will it be too long or short.

it extends the piping about 2 inches, you are going to have to get a custom pipe made. since it deletes the cat, the mid pipe and the end of the header dont reach, and the test pipe that comes with the header only works for rsx's.

So basically its a DC5-S specific header.

I don't understand why they advertise it like it fits both DC5/EP3

Well from looking at the header:

It doesn't have the traditional 3 bolt flange on the header itself. Only on the extension.

So you would need a muffler shop to weld on a 2 bolt flange onto your midpipe.

Its not a big deal, but it does suck since I don't really wanna molest my Megan midpipe either in case I want to sell it in the future.

ok so get what your saying, just get a 2 bolt flange on my megan mid pipe and good to go? and that extension the header comes with doesn't get used, correct?

It's not EP3 specific, but it will bolt up to any K20 head and will fit the EP3/DC5 chasis.. His ad states it's for off-road use only/must be used with custom exhaust. (aka do your research and know that the EP3 midpipe is shorter than the DC5)

He's been burned in the past from international buyers. I feel sorry for him as a vendor for having to deal with so many dumbass Honda retards.

im doing my research dont flame me. i just wanted a straight answer from him and pm back and from quote he said " yes the test pipe i provide only fits the RSX, so you will have to trim the test pipe approx 2 in for it to "bolt" up"

Wasn't referring to you, I've just seen a lot of posts in GDD trying to call him out as a scammer when clearly the buyers didn't do their homework. Although I admit, without extensive knowledge, his ads are a bit misleading.

BUT - his products do kick *** for the money. You just have to do your homework before you open your wallet.

It's basically a knock-off Buddy Club header, expect fitment and numbers to be the same.

Ok I found an old thread on ephatch and VtecKidd posted the following:

"The header will come with a test pipe SPECIFIC TO AN RSX. That is the only one we had made. Im sorry for the confusion but there is no EP3 or EM2 specific header. This header will fit all chassis, however like all "race header" some exhaust modification is necessary. Its impossible for us to make a 1 size fits all obviously when it comes to the test pipe. We will ship all headers with the RSX pipe that can be shortened to fit or adapted to fit the EP3 Exhaust. "

http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthr...t=64636&page=5

So I guess that answers the question lol

Werd...
We have a kiddracing RMF replica on our B20V EG. Makes awesome power compared to other good replicas. We won't use any other header for all motor unless custom made.

sadly, we coverd this over on clubep3....there is a fix for this though....clubep3 offers a skunk2 edm ep3 type-r cat back.....its a direct bolt up because the edm ep3 type-r uses the same longer header/ cat set up as the usdm dc5 type-s....honda made the cat for the k20a2/z1 longer because the higher temps coming out of the header from the higher compression motor ment the cat could be farther away from the motor for more better responce......with the skunk2 edm ep3 type-r cat back, you can run any dc5 type-s header.
