Default Time for new BRAKES....

My rotors are warped unfortionatly(sp) and I want to get all new brakes, rotors and pads. What are your suggestions, without shelling out a ton of money. Also does anyone have a link to a tutorial on bleeding the brakes, i just want to make sure i do it correctly.

if the breaks are just warped and not really damaged then just get them cut and they will be good as new, and the break pads get oem if you street drive most of the time. save mad cash.

Autozone rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Cheap and works great for the street.

Yep I believe so. Not that it matters because they are $24 a pop.

I went with Brembo Blanks and Axxis Ultimate pads .. brakes feel a lot better over the oem pads and napa rotors i had last time .. prob the most economical braking performance youll get for the money ... brakes do not squeek or anything ..

Why don't you ask about brakes for your CIVIC in the CIVIC forum? This doesn't have anything to do with the Integra Type R.

The Integra Type R forum is NOT a lifeline on "Who Wants to Be a Millionnaire".

Andie Lin at Cobaltfriction.com is who you need to talk to. I upgraded my OEM equipment to Brembo blanks and Axxis Ultimate street pads. Boy is this one hell of a street setup compared to the stock equipment. I love it so far. I spent roughly $220 on all 4 rotors (rears are actually more expensive than the fronts) and like $150 for all 4 pads. Not a bad deal because i know this stuff will last me a good deal of time. One more thing, the Axxis ultimates do not have that much dust at all but bite so hard. Just my .02

Don't believe the hype...I've been down here in S.Fla for over a year...not a single date. Then again, I don't pimp the NSX on the beach on weekends...maybe I need a set of chrome stunnas and a lift kit. <grin>

LOL Andie! You need to see the hunnies here in O'town. They are everywhere. No need for the lift kit here....get some of light up windshield washer nozzles and they flock right on over!

mike

edit: not knocking any windshield washer nozzle owners

do what they said above. Also, when you got the time, take your rear (whichever side) wheel off and try to analyze the problem with your brakes or whatever it might be.
