koni n sportline springs
i been researching and found that spring rates for sportline are
Eibach Sportline - 310F/275R
if i get those and koni yellows and set the perch to the lowest would the car bottom out?
do you guys think the spring rates are TOO SOFT?
btw i drive ej6 dx 1996
thanks you guys

The spring rates aren't "too soft" if you use the correct perch on those shocks.
If you use the lower perch, which was intended for a slight lowering with stock springs, you might very well find yourself bottoming out periodically.
You can always try it and see how bad it is, just remember that if you bottom out too much you can damage parts, and if you change your mind and put the perches back from the lower setting to the normal setting, you'll need to align the car again.

also they are progressive springs am i correct? so they start out "soft" then progressively reach full rate right?
if so then yes i will bottom out everywhere but my frined has these in his stock shocks n havent bottomed out while im in the car.
and is not bouncy but i think performance wise would suck.
im leaning towards GC/Koni but man sooooooooo expensive
1" at the perch is about 1.5" at the tire. That crazy motion ratio thing rears its head again here.
I've never understood how the "rate" of a progressive spring can be listed. I've seen some list the initial rate, others list the final rate (once nearly fully compressed), while others list an average rate.
$300 for GC speeves with springs is "sooooooooo expensive"? If that's true, you should leave the car 100% stock and worry about bigger issues.
