well first off im not a liar or one to brag but i think i had an intresting weekend

first of i raced a crx dx with all the bolt ons, stage 2 clutch the works, i killed it bad (all i have is an aem cai and a 5zigen exhaust and a bad stock clutch) then i raced a 89 turbo dx hatch back with a t25, i though i would loose but i pulled on him from a stop to the end ) sunday i was comin home on i 84 in ct and i topped it out 135 mph (yeah i know the speedo stops at 125) i use the rmp/mph calculator on hte crx resources i have an si tranny in 5th at 6500rpms.

now im woundering should i swap a b16a or keep this motor, im the second owner of this car and it got 146k and doesnt miss a beat or burn any oil, its a nasty little single cam , i was thinking maybe a jrsc and some more bolt ons, let me know what u guys think

and once again, im not a liar or ricer, im telling the truth in all of this, what do i have to gain from lying? and thanks for any help

 

That's a lot of miles, if you're planning to go FI, I suggest rebuilding the motor, even though it's not burning oil, FI is going to add quite a bit of stress to it.

i dunna know, sounds like you're pretty happy with the performance right now. you might want to try converting it to mpfi, which will give you nice boost, and see if you're happy with that.

 

Why would he switch to MPFI if he already has it? He has an SI dude.

 

grr, sorry, i'm an idiot. i thought he had a dx
