fuel pump not priming????car not starting...
i replaced the=battery,alternator,fuel filter,alternator belt,main relay.
the check engine light is on...but thats for other things like o2 sensor and what not. ussually when i turn the key the fuel pump primes..the the check engine light turns off then when the car starts it turns back on..but now it doesnt do anything no fuel pump nothin...i feel the relay click...but nothin..
please help this is my daily driven car to school
its a 1992 civic hatchback dx. with a b18c5 swap...and a j.k tuning p28 with type-r base map

Take the gas cap off and have an assistant turn the key to on while you listen with your ear next to the filler opening. If it's quiet, you'll be able to hear a working pump priming. Try to use this method for checking if it is priming throughout the diagnostic process. Check for voltage at the pump and if there is none, work your way back towards the battery.

but i can take the main relay apart and press on the tab to get the fuel pump to turn on or whatever but it still doesnt start cause it doesnt really prime and just makes the same sound...
There are 2 relays in the PGM-FI Main Relay, the fuel injector relay, [supplies 12V+ to the injectors and a few other things] and the fuel pump relay, [supplies power to the fuel pump].
The "few other things" are the ECU, some engine sensors/valves and it supplies the 12V+ to one side of the fuel pump relays coil, there are 3 diff. fuses for the PGM-FI Main relay, one is hot at all times, [input power for injector relay] one is hot in run and start. [power for one side of injector relays coil and input power for fuel pump power] there is also a hot in start only fuse, [power "stabilizer" during start for one side of fuel pump relays coil].
You say you can hear the relay "click" but the fuel pump is not turning on, but you can hold the contacts, [tab] closed and the pump does run but car will not start, is that correct?
If so, answer this, with the cover off the PGM-FI Main Relay and still plugged in, when you turn on the ign. does the relay "click" but the fuel pump does not prime until you press the tab?
If so, the injector relays contacts are bad or the hot at all times fuse is bad, the "click" would be the injector relay energizing, [turning on] because the hot in run and start fuse is good and power is getting to the relays coil, no power is getting to the fuel pump relays coil so it is not energizing, we know this because if you close the relay manually, [press on tab] the pump works, we already know the hot in run and start fuse is good because it turns on the injector relay and the pump works when pump relay is closed manually, the car will not start even if pump is running because there is no output from the injector relay, [no power to ECU, injectors or engine sensor/valves.
That only leaves the injector relay or the hot at all times fuse, to confirm/eliminate hot at all times fuse by checking for power at one of the leads at the PGM-FI Main Relay plug, [maybe yellow/white or black/white], if no hot at all times power, replace blown fuse, if there is a hot at all times power, [and relay "clicks" when ign. turned on] replace the PGM-FI Main Relay, or possibly repair it... http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/mainrelay.html good luck. 94
