Default itr handbreak help

I need some help. My rear right hand side break caliper dont work when i use the hand break, the arm on top of the caliper that connects to the cable is moving freely but it wont lock up no matter how high i pull the e-break.
do i need a new caliper or does anyone kno how to solve this?

thanks for the help

Check the cable, maybe it snapped? Brake pads low?

You can also remove the rear caliper and have someone engage the E brake - see if the pads are closing. The e-brake system is really simplistic and the only thing that could really go wrong is snapping the cable.
