Oil coming from Exhaust?
Hey guys, 1997 Honda Accord LX, so my car has been sitting for a while because there is
something wrong with the clutch lines (a leak of some sort) still haven't figured out where it is.
But I started it up today to let it run for a while and I noticed there was oil coming from the exhaust pipe.
Anyone have an idea of what could cause this?

Are you sure it was not black exhaust resudue mixed with water have you touched it and does it fill like oil? Reason being most oil would get burnt before it even get to exit exhaust unless it was there before you started it up and it was just pushed out when you started it up again. If oil is coming out then you are getting blow by in the exhaust valves. You should to a compression check and see where you are losing compress. regular comp test with a good battery will give you a base line test then you can try to check where the lose of compression is coming from. put a teaspoon of oil in spark plug hole and see if compression improves and from base test and it does then you are getting blow by in the piston rings and if it stays the same you are losing pressure in valves. A factory manual will help and good luck.
