car shaking when pushing the gas. need help
so we have a 1996 honda accord with the v6, and we were about 3+ hrs away from home today on the way back. we are going about 80 mph with cruise control and all of a sudden the car starts shaking really bad, the steering wheel is shaking like turning left and right but only when the gas pedal was being pressed. and if you hold the gas and let go of the wheel the car takes a huge turn right and would go off the road within seconds if you didnt catch the wheel. i looked behind both wheels and see that both driver and passenger cv boots are torn and the inner boots on both sides and also torn so im not sure how long they have been torn but im guessing that might have something to do with the problem but i have no idea. but since we were nowhere near home and it was sunday we had to keep driving and it stopped doing it for a while but eventually it did it until we got home. so what could this be? im no mechanic so i have no idea! thanks for the help
