Default using only middle head gasket?

is there any problems that can occur from only using 1 layer of a head gasket? i might be running nitrous, will the added pressure crack the head gasket if its only one layer? who, other than mugen, makes an aftermarket head gasket for a ls?

dude I know how you feel.......about the whole post thing.....

on this site anymore there are alot of good tech guys but the majority of the members just go around answering ?'s asked by themselves 2 months ago....copying hte same info they were given and putting it up in a post to show other people....helping them yes but at the same time really just being a tool.

FYI: I used a single layer headgasket on my d16a6 head swap on my d15 block and although I reused original headbolts and had the gasket off centered(yeah I was on crack) it ran strong...but burned alot of coolant....

Ive since replaced with a OEM headgasket and new headbolts....and it has yet to give me any problems.

if and only if you're careful about not bending or pinching the layer, and your head and block aren't warped.

To me, not worth the small bump in compression.
