i have a d16y5 i was thinkin to put the y8 head on it if possible. can it be done. what else should i change. which tranny is recommended?

I feel like you can, I don't think the block is any different because of the vtec-e or whatever... and an ex tranny would probably be your best bet

 

ya i dont think so either. i think it should be fine. im pretty sure the black is the same. i just wanted to know before i buy the head. do you know of any places to get a trani in good condition at a decent price?

yes of course i ment the block. when i type to fast i hit all sorts of keys. what is all needed for the y8 swap?
