Will this wheel/tire combination fit without rubbing?

15x7, +43 offset, 225 wide tires (possibly 50 or 45 aspect ratio)
Stock suspension, will this rub on the fender or tie rod?

With 45 series, you MAY be able to get away with it. I ran them without spacers, but had stiffer suspension while doing so. With stock suspension, you'd most likely rub. 50 series will DEFINITELY rub.
Is the rubbing problem from the rear wheels or the front?
I can't run 225s on stock wheels in the rear without rubbing. To prevent the rubbing I would need spacers which are leave the wheel studs with less engagement than I'd like.

so 15x7 43 mm offset ... can run 225/45/15, but ONLY with spacers in the rear?
and with 205/50/15, the size and offset is perfect for ITR?

Why do you guys insist on running pathfinder tires on an ITR? 195/55R15 is the PERFECT tire size for an ITR. No squirm, plenty of clearance, and, correct aspect ratio.
check this out: I'm in the same boat...

205/50 is the best choice for a 15x7 rim. It also offers better rim protection than a 195/55.
I run Hoosier's in 225/45/15 for autocross on 15/7" Volk TE37's and stock suspension. I do Not have any rubbing trouble in the rear, rather I do see some slight rubbing on the inside Front of the wheel well when the wheel is at full lock.
Remedy is try hard NOT to go full lock it's not the best way to turn and get any steering response as we already know And after spinning a few times last sunday I have some extreme personal experience with this.
There are many who run this combination and some who also stagger fronts 225/45 to rears 205/50. It depends on preference. I like a good slide like the rest of them but even sizing front to rear tends to keep the car handeling as neutral as possible without too much oversteer. I just play with the tire pressures to get it where it feels right.
Last week was best at F: 35psi and R: 33psi. the day was hot, about 90 and the track was rough, dirty and Hot. I started at 35 all around and felt that the rear was way too loose for my taste, I spun twice. I have run as high as F: 38 and R: 45 dependiong on the conditions and Temp.
Good luck, Ask whatever you like;
