they are "brighter than factory" but the visible light is not that good (around the same as halogens). It only paints the road instead of lighting it. There great for auxiliary lights or fog lights but not as your only source of headlights.

On the jdm fogs hids will look sick. Just make sure the housings are deep enough to fit the hids. Plan first. (where will you mount the ballasts, how will you mount them.)
Ive got 6k with no retrofit and I love them. They light up every little lane bump and the signs look bright and white. After you put them in adjust the angle because they will throw different than halogens and blind other drivers.

HIDs are great if you do a retro fit to your headlights, those guys are morons. They probably got a kit off of ebay and installed them in factory lights... Do a retro fit and install the projector lens and thatll get you a crisp, clear, function HID beam.

I tried the 3000k yellows in my New F150 and I hated them! Took them out the next day and went with a pair of 8500k whites

Lol, if I had to pick some, I'd get the 3000K white just so they would actually be functional...some people like really useless blue lights though... But in most states your blue headlights will allow you to see some nice new blue LED bar lights on top of a dodge charger good times!

3000 white???? 5000 is white. 6000 is crystal white. anything over 6k is annoying.

When I ordered my kit they had 3000Ks in white. I ordered them and they showed up marked 3000K and they're white... Just stating the number ordered and received. Don't have them installed ATM due to no retro fit yet.

i have 6000k in my headlights and 3000k in my foglights. it looks really good and has a nice contrast. the foglights do light up the space between the headlights and the front of the car nicely
