Default at/ to m/t swap, but confused

ok i have a 1996 ej8. i have the a/t y8. i found a great deal on this ls, full swap has everything but mounts harness and axles. question is, the guy told me i can use the harness from my y8 on the ls, not 100% sure that i can, and it has a cable tranny, i have never delt with a cable tranny, what will i need to make this work? and what all mounts can i use to put this engine in? sorry if i havent made any sense, im dead tired, lol. thanks in advance--jake

yes you can use your civic harness but a hydro tranny would be a easier swap for you

You're better off getting a hydro swap,

Then let me make it a little clearer, by the time you buy the aftermarket hydro to cable conversion kit and aftermarket mounts to put that cable tranny in you could have just bought a hydro tranny that bolts in with OEM Honda mounts, so you aren't really saving any money staying with a cable tranny. Oh, and that LS swap better be out of a '92 - '93 Integra, if its the OBD0 version from the '90 - '91 don't even bother, by the time you swap out the distributor, alternator and injectors it wont be worth doing.
