Default CX in an EF generation?

I have a customer's car in the shop and it appears to be a 91 CX. The emblem on the rear appears to be original, and it's not a sticker like the later generations. The speedometer is also in kph. There doesn't appear to have been a singe screw turned on the entire car other than routine maintenance - it's all stock. Anyone know anything about a possible Canadian CX in this year?

The CX in Canada was pretty much a base model. It has the same 92hp dpfi engine the DX had. It came with less features......

- no rear wiper
- plastic seats
- no tilt steering
- no center console garnish

Canada did get the very rare "base" model, one lower than a CX with a less powerful engine (72hp i think), but it had no badging at all....and hardly sold here.

Interesting. I knew when an auto hatch rolled up there was something odd. Thanks
