Default Tie rod/steering problem

I'm stuck at work right now lol. I have a 95 coupe, and I just put new tie rods, inner and outer, as well as ball joints in. I work at a Honda and another tech worked with me. We got everything in and the car will steer fine for like a second, and then it will want to steer itself.

It's snowing here in NJ and the alignment shop is across the highway so we're a little hesitant to drive over. I don't know what it could be, I'm assuming it's the right parts considering I got them from my job and they bolted up fine. Any suggestions or input would be great.

We know that, but we didn't want to take the chance crossing teh highway.

He said that he never felt a car pull that bad though that's why I was concerned

Our sister company is across the highway, which has the alignment rack a few doors down from the body shop.

Didn't want to chance crossing the highway bc of freezing rain/slush/snow with a car that doesn't steer correctly

Sounds like more than that to me. However, I find it hard to believe that a dealership tech is asking Honda-tech.

Get it on the rack, pull it apart and see what's wrong. You should have that figured out in 10 minutes. BTW, which Honda dealer do you work at?

Agreed, we need to know what dealer to avoid at all costs if any of us ever need to have suspension / steering work done.

Lol, I understand where you guys are coming from. I'm in express service, the tech who did my car was off the clock and in a rush to beat the weather.

We found out that he put the outers on the wrong side. As to getting it on the rack, I think he was responsible for not driving it across a highway covered in snow and sleet.

I should have worded it differently when I said another tech worked with me.
