Default Hooking up slim radiator fan question?

so i have a 1400cfm slim rad fan, installing it on a misimoto rad, now do i just cut the 2 wires from the old huge rad fan and just crimp and heat shrink the new fires to the old or is that not the way? I dont see any way but cutting the corresponding wires but befor i mess it up or something i figured id ask.

I would cut the plug off the old rad fan, solder and shrink tube it to the new fan and plug it in, pretty much what you said, so yea, that's right. 94

yeah i forgot theres a plug on the other end, so yeah ill clip that wire it in and heat shrink it as well. I just have to figure out if the slim man will bolt right uo ti the misimoto

Also, make sure when your wiring the fan that it runs in the right direction, pushing or pulling air through the rad, [depending on which side of rad fan is mounted on]. 94

it came with plastic peices for mounting. I would mount it in the same location so i belive it would be pulling, is that how the stock one flows i never checked it out as to which way it flows??

If you mount the fan in the stock location, you want to wire the fan to pull freash air from the outside of the car into the engine bay. If not you will be pull hot air out the engine bay and blowing it thru the radiator and case the radiator to receive hot air and raise the temp up. If it does not pull air from the outside just reverse polarity of the wires.

I did this to my ef n its wrks great! jus test the wire go first b4 u tape and shrink it. make sure it pulls air into the bay... good luck injoy the fan!
