Repinned--Cluster wont fit.
I have a 93 EH3, i got it originally with a UKDM cluster (assuming), goes to 180 km/h, traded a friend for his integra cluster, swap went fine. no repinning necessary.
Bought a 92 civic cluster, USDM, wont fit the plastic clips in the dash. Im assuming either a. the car was repinned before i got it, or it (the car)came from canada.
Either way, my question is, until i have time to repin it with the correct clips, will just filing off the plastic clip (Everything but the clip fits) still let the cluster work? all i would be doing is removing the little plastic clip, so the harness would fit in there correctly.
Its just a short fix, i plan to repin it later. Any suggestions?

might i add my question was whether or not filing the little clips that are in the way, will still allow the cluster to work, for now.

I am having a hard time understanding what is be asked here. Are you talking about filing the clip itself or removing some pins from the clips? If you want to remove some pins, then you may be out of some lights or functions. If you want to file the clips, then that should be O.K. as long as the pins inside match up right. I don't see why this would be necessary though. The UKDM cluster fits in the USDM, so I figure it should work the other way around as well.
