So my gf hit a curb and.....
she bent the rim.
also now the wheel seems to be pushed back a little because when u turn the wheel either way it seems that its rubbing slightly against the wheel well.
what do you think it could be?

An alignment won't help if something is bent. The best you could do is get the toe and camber correct and the caster way, way off. Something is bent, something has to be replaced.
pull ur wheel off something gotta be bent for your caster to be off mostlikely the lca mine happend making a slow u turn my car is dumped so u know it got fawked up what side is bent i have a extra driver side i didnt use that u can have for 30 plus shipping most likely she may have bent the inner tie rod also i just replaced everything

i had this happen to me, twice! once in july 08, once in july 09. ive become an expert on this situation lol
it all depends on how hard you hit the curb, in both my accidents, i had to replace both fenders cuz it pushed the wheel that far back, so i can say i hit them pretty hard lol
worst case scenario:
look at these parts mostly for damage, in both my cases, i just replaced all those parts in both my accidents

When you look at the lower control arm, there is a seam from the casting process that runs the length of the arm. This seam should be straight. You can use a string and pull it taught from end to end and see if it is bent.

When I hit a curb to doge an Excursion, I gunned it right before impact to shift the weight off of the front and luckily my car jumped the curb which limited the damage. I still replaced: front lower control arm, front upper control arm, knuckle/hub, radius rod, and shock fork. After an alignment I still have some caster issues but it is almost perfect. (I probably bent the rear subframe too)
