91 si tranny mount question??????
i have an sir2 swap in my hatch aand just my luck the transmission mount breaks its been welded before but lets just say ive seen better. i didnt know if frame mounts had to be moves and welded or not for the swap. if you could pst pics of your engine mount positions that would be appreciated. and i was also wandering what your opinion would be on bolting the frame side of the mount back to the frame with some grade eight bolts (i know it sounds ghetto).mine has basically fallin off of its position by the pass wheel well. lol so hit me up guys.

Here's the deal its not the engine or hasport side of the mounting assembly its the frame tab which if you can picture it? Peeled off of the side of the frame rail which leaves a decent plate to bolt through and to the frame rail to the inside of the wheel well. What do you think? I only consider this because people cringe when they see the type of metal they have to work with to weld it back (thin sheet to frame thick sheet)

I was thinkin that too. bolting it is somethin I can do pretty easily on my own untill I get access to a welder I guess. so ill try it out if anything it'll be good reinforcment thanks for the opinion man
