Hey everyone.
I have a 89 civic si with a b16a swap with a 92 gsr tranny.
Here's my problem.
I was pulling away from a stop sign and shifted to second in the 3000-4000 rpm area and when i let of my clutch i wasn't in gear. i tried shifting again and still had nothing. tried all my other gears and i was still stuck in neutral. while playing with my gears the shifter got stuck in spots it shouldn't have been in. i checked the linkage and there are no visible breaks. when this happened there were no sounds at all.
anyone have some ideas as to what happened?

Do the gears go in with the engine off? Other than that, ll that can be said is that you're going to have to bring that tranny down crack it open. Something if deff broken.

Do you beat up on it?

perhaps your clutch just went out?

 

anything in the way of the linkage on bottom?? exhaust heat shield or somethin? happened to mw with my 90 dx. i used the stock exhaust and some sheet metal was catchin on the shiter

 

could b the clutch or its broken

 

when the engine is off i can shift it around but like i said earlier the shifter gets stuck in places it shouldn't be in
