Anyone using Kenji's Chipped p28 with obd 1 conversion kit
Anyone with that chipped p28 and obd 1 kit have a dyno of there car with only the I/h/E setup. If so please post it and include the I/H/E you have. I have heard only good things about his ECU and I dont doubt anything he says. I am just low on cash and want my next upgrade to be as cheap as possible with the most amount of power gains. His dyno he showed me is very very impressive. He had a few more mods than me so I want to know how my dyno would look with just I/H/E untuned like his? Thanks!
well i own his conversion harness, and his ecu! worked wonders on my cars power band though i have not been to dyno yet, I do have a copy of kenji's dyno chart when he just simply pluged his ecu in, ENJOY!! note the awsome mid range!! good luck, eric
I rode in Cosworth's car yesterday; Kenji's ECU seemed to make quite a bit of difference in his car.
PS - thanx again for the ride from the airport

Kenji's P28 ECU & harness = WOW
My stock ITR motor made 175whp untuned with only mods being AEM CAI for 99-00 Civic Si (not full 3'' piping), Tanabe RD exhaust, and the kenji P28.
Kenji?

Kenji?

Should have stock ECU vs. Kenji P28 dyno chart in 2 weeks for everyone. I'm stoked to see what it really did!

im not authorized to view the pic!!!!!! can you please fix, i would love to see it. i am in the market for a new ecu and dont have th emoney for hondata....thanks!!
That ECU program in that dyno chart works best on a 1.8l DOHC VTEC B-series motor with at least I/H/E. A fuel controller will only add to the power gained.
In that dyno there was no fuel controller used. Just plugging the ECU in on my '98 ITR w/ I/H/E, cam gears, 64mm TB, JDM ITR header, test pipe, and Mugen head gasket.
I am currently selling the ECU/harness package for $410 shipped and fully insured. It is plug and play. The $410 price may fluctuate depending on the price my supplier gives me on P28s at the time. I try my best to keep prices as low as possible.
If anybody needs references on my products or customer service I will be happy to provide them. I guarantee all of my work and try to provide the best customer service I possibly can.
I am hesitant to post pricing on message boards. I don't want to turn my posts into advertisements at other people's expense. If you are interested in one of my harness/ECU packages or need your Honda/Acura ECU chipped please email me at kenji211@tampabay.rr.com and I will be happy to answer any, and all, of your questions. Thanks.

Well since kenji won't advertise his own stuff I'll help him.
I have owned both a kenji jumper harnes and one of his P28 ECus which I still use today.
I used to have his jumper harness in my 1992 Si hatch that allowed me to run the OBD2 plug JDM P73 ECU for my B18C5 swap. His harness is bad-***! Unlike the Skunk2 crap that uses all black wires with silver tracers, kenji uses Honda-colored wires. Also the Skunk2 pins are weak and are easily undone. this sucks because all the wires are the same color! If 2 come out it's a P.I.T.A to get it redone right. Kenji JB Welds his wires so that they never come unpinned.

I ditched that JDM P73 ECu and then purchased his P28 ECU and I must say that I was a tad skeptical on how it would peform. Unitl then I had always thought that O.E Honda would have had the better ECU, but kenji proved me wrong.
Although I didn't have a baseline with the Honda P73 ECU, I'm sure the numbers would not have been as good with that P73 like they were with his P28.
also and very important, my idle is 100% PERFECT! Unlike my HASport ECu on my B16A hatch, the kenji P28 idles awesome. No up and down BS like others.
Something else that is awesome about his P28:
It's all OBD1. No more bull with "random misfire" codes, or that damned "Oxygen sensor bank 2" codes either when you run a high-flow cat or test pipe. I have never once thrown a CEL with his ECU and I have a CarSound 2.5'' cat on my car. No need for paying for an extra 02 bunge with your new cat or testpipe either! OBD1 is so much better IMO than the OBD2 when it comes to CELs and whatnot.
Lastly i'll say this:
Kenji is a man of his word. when he says he'll ship something, he'll do it. He's not a flake when it comes to the little things, and he is very professional about the ECU and harness stuff.
Anyways just thought I'd share my experiences with kenji and his products.
