CRV - No light in meter NEEDLES and Drive "D"

I have a HONDA-CRV 1999. I have a problem with getting light in all the needles of all meters: no light in SPEED-O-METER NEEDLE, Gas meter NEEDLE, battery meter NEEDLE, temperature meter NEEDLE, etc...there is light in the meters but no light in the needles.

Also, when we put the car on drive, there is no green light coming on "D", but there is light when we park "P",or "N", or "R" etc.

We showed it to mechanic who could not found the problem. Is there any solution for this problem? How to correct it? Please help. Thanks.

 

Hmmm, take the cluster out and see if lights are turning on, check for any loose wiring or any other problems. Have you done any wiring to the car lately?

 

agreed check for loose power wires and ground wires behind the cluster. Your shift console is probibly a burnt out light bulb or bad contact.

 

D bulb burnt out. Mine just did that too. $3 at dealer. the bulb for the needle probably burned out as well. Time for a trip to Honda Parts dept . . .
