Default Tri-Y Header Removal...

Wanted to know how others went about removing a Hytech Tri-Y or replica like it header. The slip joints seem pretty stuck from all the expanding and contracting of the metal and I need to remove it to drop the oil pan and clean the pickup screen since my pressure has been dropping. I was originally gonna just leave it on and just use a universal joint to get to the 2 bolts behind the collector but one of them looks a lil rounded and I can't get the socket to get on it from that funny angle. I'm stuck at this point and I'm a lil afraid to beat on it, advice anyone?

Oh damn, I think I'm gonna put anti-seize on my studs and bolts for easier removal in the near future.

It's the slip joints themselves, not any of the hardware.

Just remove the header in one piece. That's what I've done with both SMSP headers I've owned. Easy to do after you drop the front crossmember.

Man I feel like a dummy, didn't even think of dropping the front crossmember, thanks.
