hi i don't know if any one can help me with this fault, i have got a delsol 1.6 16v B16A engine, 1993 year and the other week my brakes decided to do want they want. its hard to explain, but the pedal was going up and down on its own but when i wanted to brake the pedal was already to the floor without me touching it so i had to use my gears and handbrake to stop luckly i was only in slow moving traffic and is use to this sort of thing but not off the track. i was gettin a ticking noise from the drivers footwell, i would say there was a fault with the abs, the problem i have is that there is no abs light in the dash and was told when i brought it that it didn't have it, but i have had a look and the car does have abs which makes me think that this problem has happened before and someone has changed the clook before i brought it,(i haven't had it a year yet)
i am asking if someone has had this problem before and what they have done to fix it, if i can do a diagnostics without the abs light or has someone got a dash clock for sale with an abs light.

you have a leak in your lines. figure out what and where.

and btw, we dont consider del sol's crx's on this american website. not that it mattered for this post.

 

thanks i'll have a look for it and i didn't know about the crx not being a delsol as i it a crx delsol sorry again (think i'm confusing myself now lets leave it at that lol)

 

the 92-00 civic section will have more info for del-sols than this section. OBD1 and all the same stock motors for instance.

This section is for the real crx's :D
