Weird Sound from Rear right axle/brakes?
Sup guys,
As i was driving this morning, i notice a weird sound. It was coming from the passenger rear side. It sounded like a electric saw cutting metal (when the saw barley touches metal, if you know what i mean). The sound was off and on, a second within each sound. I dont think its my brakes, because it still made sound when i was off the brakes. I also noticed when i reversed in the parking lot, it sounded like a low, deep squeek (kinda like a dyno when its stopped, if you know what i mean). Does is need more brake fluid/fluid anywhere? Im currently at school so i did not get a chance to check. Any information would help.
Thanks

you could have possibly warped your rotor it happened in my truck once you should check cause if you let it go too long it could end bad my trucks brakes exploaded on the way to school cause the warped rotor locked up and i broke it free so check if thats it
brakes or wheel bearing. if i could hear it.. feel the pedal pulse when u brake? is sound continuous? what kinda car? it better be a honda!
Have you checked the brake pads? They might be worn, getting stuck, etc. Or was the car sitting for a long time? Could also be a little rust, but you need to inspect it first.

Also, my pads are worn, and it may be the cause. I also dont know what pulse you are referring to? I dont feel a thing?[/QUOTE
warped rotors will cause the break pedal to push back on your foot like it has a pulse. up and down. probably not warped rotors.. sound like you need a brake job. metal to metal not good. to see if its a bearing jack your ride up and try to move the tire/wheel in/out at top and bottom and front to back side to side if movement present then you need a wheel bearing. if not. you probably got alot of brake dust on your rims..
