Those are USDM ITR pistons But you're right; they aren't as expensive as they were once upon a time. Or I may have been thinking forged overbore pistons.
Anyways, you can pick up Spoon .25mm over pistons for about $500 for a set of four.

seems like getting a set of pistons and rings from spoon is the cheapest option. how do you order fro the japanese spoon website?
a set of pistons and rings from ICB would cost about 700 bucks (

USDM pistons will lower your compression. I'd go with the spoons....I think they have a US website....or you can order through me (with conditions of course)
here is a site that sells them in the states...They charge about what I would have charged, so timewise it might be quicker to order through them.

I may just go with the JDM ITR piston kit then, on my USDM B18C5. But the Spoon kit is something to think about. How much will it actually increase performance?
Well, if its not changing compression, and its not forged pistons, it probably won't change the performance at all. Spoon has been known to take OEM parts and making them only slightly better, then rebadging them as their own. It looks like that's the case here, because I see no real major difference between them and OEMs. Perhaps the rings are stronger and more resistant to breaking.
If you're looking for an performance increase, might want to source some B16B pistons to raise the compression, but you'll need consider retuning.

going by the description, it seems that they've balanced OEM pistons so that the weight of each piston are within 1 gram of each other. And the rings are within 0.07mm of the grooves. That's pretty good tolerance.
In line 4 don't carry JDM itr spec 98 oversized pistons, they only offer USDM itr oversized ones and they also produce their own replicas of USDM itr pistons.
Seems like ICB do not have oversized JDM itr pistons in stock. I wrote them an email about a week ago asking if they are going to have such pistons in stock sooner or later but have not receved any reply.
Not I think about using CTR pistons. I'll get about 11.8 comp ratio with them. What do you think about such setup? I also have GSR engine lying in my garage for a couple of years, maybe i should build something out of it. Any suggestions?

They did in October when I bought them from inlinefour, they are stamped p73-00 on top. US ones are stamped P73-A0.
I payed $240 for them and $140 for oversized rings also. I had my block bored out .25 and put these pistons in, 2 months ago.
Maybe they just quit selling them.
Just called them and asked, they said they are out of stock but should be recieving more in 3 months.
