so im am now the proud owner of an 01 ITR #710. 38k og miles and CLEAN TITLE all stock with the exception of a welded on fart can

i have been hounding this guy about this car for the past two years.

i little background on the car, it had been through 2 motors and after the 2nd motor blew, it sat in a garage for the past two years.

the guy i purchased the car from had plans to put another motor in the car but funds were short and of course family is always priority. being the r fanatic that i am, im pretty much in the know of every ITR located west of Canada lol. I had put an offer on the car in the past with no luck of him taking the offer. another year went buy and I again offered to take the car off his hands. another year gone by and with CASH in hand, i went to his doorstep and put the offer on the table... 12 hours later i was at his house with a trailer and my truck





the car is complete minus motor, trans and axles.. i thought about just picking up another b18c from hmo.. but for the same price i was able to pick up a k20 with a bunch of supporting mods. i hope to have this car up and running by the end of december.. but with christmas coming i may not have it up and ready til January.

How do you blow two motors within 38k miles? Nice pick-up. IMO you should find another C5 for it.

Right on! Nice pickup. You should boost on that K20. So what's the backstory on the two blown motors? First one blew then the second one wasn't good so it blew?

the car still has a retail book of $15.5k i picked up for a fraction of that...

oh it will be safe.. i am no stranger to ITR's.. i bought my first one in 98 and its been safe for over 10 years

im excited to get this one up and running again.

So I'm guessing a C5 is going back in the R?
