ive had a 91 crx si for about 7 years. i sold the car a while ago to my lil brother and the engine blew.
i have a complete shell, and i have the engine harness and dizzy. ive been looking for engines and a trans cause im carless and looking for the cheapest option.
i found a d15b vtec longblock for $200
if i get that engine can i use my harness and dizzy and stay obdo?
or should i convert to obd1, looking for the cheapest and easiest option.

you could probably run a chipped obd0 ecu if you have access to the map or a good tuner. that's the cheapest.
the right way would be upgrade to obd1, jumpers, ecu and dizzy.

but i could use my harness, with a stock si ecu, and just not run vtec, correct?
I might work but you will not tap the full potential of that gas saver engine without Vtec.
Just get a jumper harness and a P28 ecu. It has gotten way cheaper than back in the day.
