Default passenger axle keeps popping out, has any1 had this problem b4

So my passenger axle keeps popping out, and everytime it does it chews the **** out of the tip of it so I have to replace it. I thought it was just that the clip wasn't spread enough so I spread them b4 I install them and it still popps out. Next I though that my diff was bad and it was wobbling so it would spit it out, so I replaced my diff and bearings and it still does it.

Has anyone had this problem before or know any other causes for this problem.

I would guess that the axle is a little to short, or could be that you are not getting the CV all the way into the diff. I have heard of this before, but don't know what causes it. When you get it figured out, let us know.

it's the right axle, I have had it this way for about 8yrs. just now I have been having this problem. and the inner hub is going all the way into the diff. something is vibrating between 30 and 40 mph. i have brand new axles, brand new tranny, good hasport mounts, full-race traction bars.

I have been researching this prob for the last hour, and there are several things that guys have found that caused it. Bad C clips(you should not be able to pull the axle out by hand strength). Bent lower controll arm(caused vibration somehow); worn out C clip shoulder in the diff, bad diff bearings(to much side play) there should be none. After market axles machined improperly or to short(correct part number but 1" to short), or to much spline length past the circlip, preventing the CV from going in all the way. engine mounted to low on the right side( one guy was using the wrong holes for his mounts, and he re drilled the mount about 1/8" back and higher, and cured the problem (vibration too). another guy replaced everything several times with no success, until he bought a new LSD, which curred it. I am going with that one in your case, I can see where the Diff gears could get sloppy enough to run at a slight angle, creating some axial pressure on the CV to push it out, or side play in the diff, causing rapid side to side movement during on- to-off throttle change, or vise versa.

well right on ramco, thanks for looking into it for me. this last axle i put in last night, i bent the c-clip so i had to hammer the axle in, and no you cant pull it out by hand. i for sure thought it wasn't comming out, but i just made it harder for me to put it back in when it popped out on the side of the road. i will look into the bent lower control arm theory right now. the diff gears have very minimal play, my last diff had alot and i was sure that was the problem but i guess not. so i guess i'm gonna check my lower control arm and wheel bearings today. and i'm going to raise my car until the axle is horizontaly straight and pull my ladder bar as far as i can to get it straight as i can and see what happens.

and insanemike24 is the man when it comes to axles. it turns out that the autozone axles are a half inch shorter then real integra axles. they must have changed their design in the last couple of months cause i have always used autozone axles, and now i won't be. autozones will work fine on eg and ek and da's but not for the crx and especially if it is lowered.

SO THANKS TO INSANEMIKE24 AT INSANE SHAFTS
