You have to run the distributor that matchs the ecu. It is possible to throw on obd0 diz on an obd1 ecu or vice versa, but you will get major driveability issues, very poor idling etc. Is it back firing at all when you crank it, or just nothing? You said you have spark? Do you smell gas on the plugs or out of the exhaust after cranking for a bit? Dont know if youve tried it but pull the dist cap off and check the rotor button. Make sure the set screw hasnt backed out and the button came loose, that happens sometimes.
