1. 180 psi
2. 179 psi
3. 179 psi
4 180 psi
That^^^ was just posted from a 10.6:1 JDM H22A
I always thought it was more about the consistency across the 4 cyls NOT the actualy number.
I'm not sure that EVEN compression numbers mean your engine is OK though. My shop prefers the leak down test.

typically anything below 150 means your engine is just about toast

Compression and leakdown both have their place.

If you know there functions there is no need to explain.

Compression test just tells you your compression

Leak down tells you were you are leaking compression from

Your PSI value should be about 5 percent within each other.

Your figures are 10 percent within each other.

with those figures i would guess you have a blown head gasket in between cylinders 2-3. that would explain the "mayo" in your radiator.

My old 11.2:1CR H22 made 240psi across the board at 500' elevation on a cool day. It makes a difference which compression tester and cams you're using too.

I have actually heard of someone doing a fresh h22 rebuild and getting 300 psi in each cylinder.

Apparently brand new motors have higher psi until they are broken in

According to the HELMS 135PSI or above is fine. But like NirVTEC said what's important is the consistency across all four cylinders.

I just remember SKEETER @ Newcastle Honda freaking out when he did the Compression test on my JDM H22A when I was out there........
I guess he was a little surprised to the results as compared to your run of the mill F22'd Accord.
