Default K20A2 Pistons..forged rods?

I have a k20a2 block and I'm going 0.010" over because the piston on cylinder 4 melted because of an injector problem.....I'm going with OE 86.25mm pistons and ringd (13030-PRB-A01 and 13021-PRA-E02)

Q: Can I use forged Rods with the OE pistons????

The car is a track only car that will see 16 x 40min races + test days and dyno!!!!

Do the standard part Number from Carrillo or Eagle work???
