Default Max WHP potential on the Toda Spec B's w/o using ITB's

I was wondering what is the maximum wheel HP potential out of the Toda Spec B's

w/o using ITB's be on a 1.8L of displacement?? headwork, pistons, ECU tuning would be okay....

IMO it all depends on who's tuning it. I have seen dyno graphs of moderatley modded Type R's and some GSR's reaching 200whp. And then you see some cars with built High Compression barely reaching 190whp. In some intances (MIke K's Camshaft test) the Toda Spec A's almost outperformed the B's throughout the RPM range. It really just depends on some of the variables you mentioned - headwork, tuning, ecu capabilities and compression. I'm sure there are some guys on here with first hand tuning experience and dyno's so TTT.

yes on a 1.8L B18C bottom end...I never said anything about stock bottom end but 1.8L using a B18C crank and block,..yes...220 whp is very realistic but takes tuning work.

Tony the Tiger WAS making 230+WHP with Spec C's

He's just about finished the same application NOW with ITB's!!!!

He'll be making MORE than that now!!!!

Ask him about the middle of September!!!

I was putting down 219WHP with TODA Spec B's, 1.8L with 12.2:1 CR. I never had Spec C's... I am still running TODA Spec B's

Right now, I have a resleeved B18C1, 13.5:1 CR ENDYN RW, custom individual throttles with custom runner and horn lengths, etc... I never liked TWM's specs from the start. We'll see what kind of numbers I put down after I get everything sorted out. And of course, there will be another video possibly in the making
