I have a 02 Accord EX coupe. recently i ran out of gas and my car was stuck on road, i called up road side assitance guy and he filled 2 gallons of gas. Since the the indicator never showed up though it the car is completely running out of gas!

I tried checking the indicator before starting the engine.. it is ont comng up where all the other indicators seem to be working fine

Any ideas, what could have gone wrong? If i need to fix it, how much it may cost, any ideas?

If the fuel gauge works and the light doesn't work, I would suspect a burnt out bulb or wiring.

If the fuel gauge didn't work, then it could be a bad sending unit; however, that doesn't seem to be what you stated.
