I haven't been on this forum for a while and not sure if anyone has done a write up of start to finish on exactly how to refinish a car with excellent results so I'm volunteering to do one if there's enough interest in doing so, maybe some noobs who would like to attempt a paint job themselves, the DIY'ers who love cars as much as I do... If there's not a good write up I'd like to help just let me know guys! Thanks and keep on keepin on!

I'm VERY interested, I've actually been thinking about taking a body and paint course at a local college...
an additional write-up and discussion would be awesome though! I've got two cars that NEED paint and bodywork...

Awesome! I definitely encourage anyone that wants to learn to give it a try. Its a long pain staking process but well worth it especially if you end up making a profession out of it. I just do it on the side as a hobby and have been doing it for about 8 years, I love my full time job waaaay too much to switch. Anyone else?

Okay well I have started, like I said it won't happen over night but I'm excited to finally get workin on my love so it won't take forever either lol. I will be doing this the way I was trained in school, if anyone has any other tecniques they'd like to add in then I'd love to hear them as well. As always, constructive criticism is always welcome
I will start the thread later tonight with what I have done so far and edit as I go along so it will be easily accessible. I work in law enforcement but I love doing this stuff, and I enjoy helping people, especially if its involving a love for hondas. I hope my thread will help you guys and maybe give some who have never tried this the confidence to attempt it. Like anything else it takes a lot of practice and your first time will be no where near perfect... My 99 EM1 was my first whole project and it turned out good but not perfect and has been burnin my *** for years to go back and fix errors that I had not yet learned from... So nows the time.. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Lol don't need help, I went to school for this...just was seeing if any interest in me making a write up on how to properly do this and helping others learn to do it. But I appreciate the support!
You could go to school for it and still suck
, we have guys that come into my shop that went to the all famous "Wyotech" and 95% of them dont know jack ****....
not saying you do just saying that just because one goes to school for it doesn't mean anything really...

this is very true... i actually went to a vocational school and we were taught that wyotech is a f*cking joke! lol. I dont have any high dollar expensive college training, i was taught the basics and i have picked up little tricks on my own over the 8 years of doing it, like i said before, im a perfectionist and im **** as hell! hopefully atleast one person will get some good use when i do the write up.
