Default OBDII B16a2 distributor plug and EX harness

Hey guys, I have a little problem. I have an 00' Civic EX and am swapping in a B16a2 from a 00' SI. I have encountered the distributor plug wire where the b16 distributor plug does not match the ex plug on the harness. Is there anyway I can splice the distributor plug connector from my d16 onto my b16 distributor plug?

the guy that sold me the engine has the stock SI harness and threw away the plug because he went h2b. Can I get this plug from the dealership? Please I really need some advice on this.

here's the si plug:

and here's the ex plug:

I looked at the wires and the SI plug has 9 wires and the EX harness has 8 wires. Anyway around this?

all the wire sould be the same color except for the two blue wires one of them is rmp output so hook one up and if you dont have any rmps then hook up the other one and it sould work.

thanks a lot for that diagram, i had another diagram but it was only for going from obd2a to obd1 and obd2b to obd1, not from big plug to small plug.

in this diagram, i will be left with one extra wire on the SI distributor plug (pin 9: engine speed output). what should i do with this wire?
