Default 92 d15b7 running rich

ever since i bought the car ive noticed thats been running rich. what can cause this? i am not throwing a check engine light, and yes my check engine light does work. i have just replaced the headgasket, and redone the ENTIRE cooling system. and its still running rich after that.
