i bought a 93' d16z6 motor swap with engine harness from the junk yard, but someone took out the distributor and the vtec solenoid completely with plugs..

the vtec solenoid has been fixed using a 2 wire plug for the vtec switch and the single wire to the solenoid...
and found the distributor plugs out of a non-vtec harness already, but cant compare because i don't have the vtec dizzy yet..

so i'd like to know if the dizzy plug for vtec is the same as non-vtec? plug and play?

EDIT: obd1 harness--92-95 civic

 

'92-'95 distributors have the same plugs, regardless of whether it's for a VTEC or non-VTEC engine. So you're good to go.

 

i just wired up the plugs into the harness all the wires there, same color all smoth
i'll pick up the new vtec dizzy tomorrow....
