Code 10 - IAT Sensor short
I recently installed a new K&N filter and shortly after received code 10 from maintence required light.
Curious if it is a coincidence or does the sensor have to be replaced with a new or different one because of the new K&N filter.

I know exactly what you are talking about when you post mentioned IAT sensor. I've seen this pop up on this forum alot. Sounds like you installed an aftermarket cold air intake and took off the black stock air filter housing, correct? If that's so, yes, you have to use the old IAT sensor that you unplugged from the inside of the old stock air filter housing (the IAT sensor itself looks like a stubby pencil, best way to describe it I guess, and a grey clip attaches to the other end. Here's where you'll have a little problem, you have to use needlenose pliers or some other tool to pinch and unattach the clip that holds the MAP, IAT and 1 other sensor from underneath that silver clip attached to your car so you can stretch your wiring about an inch further to attach to your new cold air intake. There should be a hole on the right side onf your new cold air intake where it goes into. The IAT sensor goes on the inside and the old grey clips attaches to the outside of your new cold air intake. Sound like your problem? Hope that helps.
