Default Completely Redoing Interior

Just need some opinions and help from HT!

My first mistake, hopefully the biggest one. Was tearing out all my carpet and such, without having an outline of what I REALLY wanna do.

So I'm leaving my faith in your hands and going to use your opinions!

ignore my horrible steering wheel...cover

Okay, so basically. My budget is roughly $400, so I'm not sending it done, or having anyone else doing it, I'm doing this myself to save some money and gain some experience along the way..

I think it'd be pretty bad a$$ if I only put my front seats back in, and left the back for something else. Subs, amps or something. However, it'd have to be something serious and have a good reason for it, because it would have to outweigh the fact that I give rides to people. Otherwise I'll just re-upholster my rear seats, which I'd like to do I guess.

Also, should I redo the trunk/hatch or is it worth it? I'd like to go all mr. carpentry and throw one or two 10" subs in there, since I wouldn't really need much in the trunk. Toolbox can go under the seat or something, idk.

Guess I'm just really lost on what I wanna do so, it's up to you guys, throw me ideas, and if necessary questions!

OH duh... 1995 Hatchback, it's red. but will be painted, so color can vary, I'm not sure how I want paint. starting to like purple

put it back in. save the money for something else. The best gutted interior is from the front seats back and it doesnt look great unless its painted.

Just put it back to oem, but in showroom condition! Clean and fix anything you have to, and replace anything broken.

But maybe get a type R shift **** and boot, and eg6 cluster.

Well at least thats what I would do.

You probably just tore it in the middle over the console right. You can even see that when its assembled. Just steam clean it and maybe dye it.

I say get some red carpet for that type r look. thats what ive wanted to do and throw some red type r recaros or brides. For the back i think you should just do a custom rear seat delete and roll cage if you dont want to give rides to people. id do the carpet first then later on do the other stuff.

Naw, I tore around the seatbelts and under the dash around the console, it's really just a mess, broke a lot of clips too. It's all good though, I'd rather put a new carpet in it, even if it is OEM..

I'm not too sure about the rear seat delete. I mean like, I LOVE the idea, it's so clean and ****, but if I do gotta give someone a ride, then what lol. They ain't sitting on my subs. A roll cage would be pretty bad ***, but unnecessary, I'd put one in if I can find a cheap one or something. Think there's anyway to like cut the rear seats in half and have a 3 seater? That'd be pretty bad *** and unique haha.
