Default My home made rear seat delete, 94 EG hatch. With sub enclosiers, Clean, Pics

Just finished making my home made rear seat delete today. Started doing it a couple days ago. Used 3/8 plywood.
Here is a pic of the finished product

Didn't like the sealant I used, Changed it to some polyrthane.

I just used those 36" by 72" replacement carpet rolls from walmart for $8.88. 2 rolls. I figured to buy the rear seat delete kit they cost close to $300. I did all this for under $80 homeade beside the subs and amp.
The Dynomat cost me the most at $40.
Plywood and one piece of 1" 6" $15
Carpet rolls $18
Polyrthane sealant $5

its very clean and i'd do it to, but i find a flaw in your design. what happens when you need to change your fuel pump? given you don't change pumps daily but still a hassle. you should probably put a partition between the two subs tho. probably sound better.

I did something similar, but not as big and not as permanent. Good luck changing the fuel pump if it ever goes out. But you did do a damn good job on that.

It would only take me about 15 min. to take the front piece out if the fuel pump went out.

Just plop out one of the subs and good to go... maybe, depending on how long it is.

Very nice. When I purchased my car the previous owner had one installed in the car. I took it out but I kinda regret it now. (some parts got left in the rain and warped).

Super clean.
You should have made like a trap door where the spare wheel well is.
Kinda like a tonneau cover. Cuz now you have ALL that dead space.
Otherwise niiiiice

I was thinking about it but decided against it, you can still lift up the back section enough to be able to store something underneath
