After an engine swap I am getting codes P1362 and 0135 these are for the TDC and the O2 sensor. I am getting no resistance from the TDC but am getting from the CPS or whatever the other two pins in the connector near the plastic timing belt housing.
Here are my symptoms after starting the car idles at 2200rpm after a min or two it goes out of high idle and then has a surging idle from 1300-2200. Also cannot get engine above 3100rpm, and it is hesistant under 3100.
Could a faulty TDC sensor be causing all these symptoms.
It is a F23a1.
The engine I put in supposedly only had 80000 miles and was supposed to be a runner.
Any suggestions or ideas? I will switch the TDC tomorrow until then Im trying to get ideas to try while under car. Also TPS has been switched along with plug wires. I cleaned up the IAC.
ALso could someone tell me aobut the FITV and IAC valve on this F23a1 motor, i couldn't find much to clean up when taking them apart? Is this normal for this model year? Many of the posts with surging idle suggest cleaning and show different pics?

What car did that engine went in? That would help us if your car is an OBD1 or 2.
