Default 5th Gen Lowering the car, Thermal Exaust, DC Sports Header, or Intake..which one first?

I have a 5th Gen prelude and about $500 to spend give or take a few. I wanted to speed it up a bit. Which would be the best thing to get first to get most out of my money. Thanx for your input

I think out of all those, the DC Sports Header would yield the biggest hp gain. Course upgrading your suspension is very worthwhile as well, but I don't know if u can get springs and shocks for $500. So go with the header instead.

I say get a set of H&R springs for like 135-150, somewhere in that range, and then get a cold air intake (I got mine for 50 on EBAY brand new, but AEM should yield a max price of 190-195). You would still have some left over after that. Intakes make the biggest gains of any bolt-on. The DC header is worthless and people don't realize that Honda designs a good header for their stock cars (my buddy dynoed better with his stock over the DC). Thermal is a good choice---so with the left over money just save a little more and get that cat-back system.

Get H&R springs and AEM intake. Both of those should total below $400. Dont bother spending your money on the DC headers, they're crap. You dont get much if any gains from it. Basically its a copy of the stock headers. Wait for SMS for headers, from what I've seen so far, the design and performance is outstanding.

If you got ANY performance out of them, I seriously doubt it's 'noticeable.' I'm not hating or anything like that, but for example, a lot of bolt-ons only work well with the aide of other bolt-ons. From your sig, I assume you don't have an intake. What good does flowing more air through a header/cat-back system do if you still have stock air intake. That's why I doubt your gains--if any--are noticeable. If you want a good header, you gotta pay the price with SMSP or Mugen...
