i have a question i need to ask and i hope you guys can answer them here i will appreciate it alot...... so i have a 1997 ek hatchback and i was going to do a b16a2 swap but i got hoked up with a a 1998 gsr motor so prior to that i went out and bought a 2000 si harness of the em1 and the si p2t computer as well now heres my question can i use that harness and computer i got will it be a plug and play swap or do i have to get the obd2a harness and the p72 computer i know all the mounts and stuff just the harness is what is stopping me from completing my swap i hope u guys can help

if no help i am willing to trade my b18c1 gsr with vins on tranny and motor for a 2000 si motor plus cash on ur side of course or cash and parts let me know thanks

Plugs should all work fine...You may have to extend some. You will also need to add the butterfly wires if you want them to work. The ecu should be a 1998 or equivalent p72. Check this website out for specific wiring info:

^^he's right you will have to extend some wires but im not sure if obd2a and obd2b harnesses are same. and i suggest you grab a different intake manifold so u dont have to mess with the butterflies on the GSR intake manifold. it will make it alot easier to work around too. plus they are ugly lol

 

dont u think i can just take off the butterflies or get a gsr cable it thanks for the help and by the way that page i cant click on anything
