can i use a d15 tranny on a d16 motor auto. car is auto

 

as long as the d15 is an auto to but and d series tranny will work with it

 

so any dseries tranny will work in my d16 auto?

 

Any D-Series tranny with bolt up to a D-Series engine.

i know its going to bolt up but will it work just fine or what?

 

For the automatic it will have to come from the same generation of civic. IE if the civic is a '92 - '95 the tranny must come from a '92 - '95, if its a '96 - '00 then the tranny must come from a '96 - '00. And if its an HX coupe it has to come from another HX coupe (they use a wierd CVT tranny)
