as long as the d15 is an auto to but and d series tranny will work with it

Any D-Series tranny with bolt up to a D-Series engine.

For the automatic it will have to come from the same generation of civic. IE if the civic is a '92 - '95 the tranny must come from a '92 - '95, if its a '96 - '00 then the tranny must come from a '96 - '00. And if its an HX coupe it has to come from another HX coupe (they use a wierd CVT tranny)
