Should i stick with my D16z6 or go with a h22? HELP ME PLEASE!! NEED ADVICE!
Should i stick with my built d16z6, vitara pistons, h beam rods, 8:5:1 compression
or should i buy a h22?
or should i buy a h22?
Are you serious right now? Youve given no information whatsoever. Youve given us no lead as to what your goals are or even your budget. This is like asking what shoes you should buy
Go with the stilletos.

i say stay with the z6 but i love the afforability of the single cam. if not pm a parts list on it
.. i might have some money for ya

Right now i have a d16z6 block with vitara pistons, eagle h beam rods, and golden eagle block guard which i was suppose to be boosting.
But then im looking at this h22 with cp pistons and crower rods. Wit a compression to 9:1
Im just asking which motor would u guys pick?
H22a for the price, i miss mine alot. SOHC are outdated, for the price you could swap in a reliable H series and have more room for boost later.

d-series are built better than h series because of the sleeves, in which boosting a d series as oppose to the h would last longer in the d. also, d's are cheaper for parts and a lot simpler to build and walk all over h's. keep the D!! or get a LS
yeah i honestly think d's are a lot cheaper
The H will have more power off the line, plain and simple. No replacement for displacement. The SOHC will get better gas mileage and be lighter and easier/cheaper to work on. If you're going to swap a engine in that's larger than 2 liters, build a G23. The F23A1 blocks are cheap and it's said to be a K killer and ready to boost.
Boost can be reliable, but the same is said with anything. It all depends on the quality of parts and attention to detail...like having a proper tune.

well theirs this guy already selling a h22 fully built motor, with cp pistons and crower rods, compression ratio 9:1, stock sleeves
both SOHC and h22 are outdated and what do you mean an h22 for the price a d16z6 can run you anywhere from 400-1000 dollars depends on how many miles and what shape it is in compared to the h22 which runs from 1300-3900 dollars, and H22's notorious for the sleeves going out. D16Z6 all the wayy

How do you come to that deduction?
For a complete changeover for a grand you expect it to have rods, pistons and sleeves?
Said by you? Source? Lot of rumors can float around and any enegine with enough money placed in the right hands can be built to be a killer of anything.
Forged pistons with stock FRM sleeves, nooooooooot happening. Someone is playing you d00d!
Yikes, why would you want to buy someone else's random build? It could have been put together wrong, it could have issues with it, they could be lying. I would never buy someone's random build, it would have to be documented from a reputable builder, compression and leak down tested for me to even flinch.
