Default Newb to the Site Sayin Wassup

Sup people the name is MIKE, just wanted to make an intro and say wassup to the Ht peeps in here. Originally started in the Bay Area to go to school and now back home in the small asssss island of Saipan, its close to GUAm if that helps any? Neways been lurking around the site for some yrs now and just now 4some reason decided to join. This Site has helped out with all my honda problems encountered when i was working in the bay area for a friends race shop and is hands down the best source for help, instructions and just anything honda. Great Job on all the write ups and stickies that have compiled in this site. Carrying on ill post some of my old rides that i had back then in the BAy that just never got around to finising up. thanks to either thieves or the DalyCity cops for numerous BS tickets that put me in to a hole. As of now I am working on a 2000 civic dx, currently in the paint booth but should be out by next week. i just need some suspension to set it off for now but from where im at parts is hard to come by and shipping stuff this far aint cheap! will post pics of my 4 door as soon as its out.

thanks. wish i couldve finished them up though. The 92 gsr i traded for the Eg got halfway to where i wanted it then got stolen from my home in redwood city, found a month later in stockton.bought the ek with an ls swap boosted it then sold it. heres a pic of the motor boosted. nothing crazy, just ran 10 psi on a DSM turbo with dsm 450's and a chipped p28 running a uberdata program

i hear people have pretty good systems and still get stolen..
it sucks to hear you cant protect your car.. if they want it they take it

Gil put it this way, every night i take my Ecu out of my car, plus a clifford alarm. Thats how paranoid i was back then. I got home around 2 am from a party, and had to get up at 5am to get ready for the hour trip to school.I get out to the parking lot at 530 and it was gone! lol ****ed up as it is, i still dont know how they did it. No ecu in the car so i think they had some kind of towing device or a tow truck itself orrr the same ecu i had? but that is straight up a good thief. Found it a month later about 4 hours away from where it was taken by cops. Burnt to the shell, nothing left but the shell sitting on blocks.

I honestly think it was a person from my school.2 days before the incident i had brought my car into the school shop (wyotech) to do some maintenance and as soon as i popped the hood open a crowd just sorrounded the car so more than likely those fools were stalking where i lived.

That was my most loved ride ever! b20z bottom wit a b16b head and just about everything added on was the real thing haha. Spoon/Toda/Jasma and the list goes on.

Sorry bRO NOT MUCH pics of the Engine Bay, but as you can see its all garage stuff. took me 2 weeks to make the piping, a month to find all the parts and ony cost me about $600 bucks. IT was a small turbo which was perfect for the LS motor.Boosted almost instantly and spooled all the way to .

Dont Mind Da bride horn button and the autometer af gauge, but the steering wheel was an authentic 5zigen n1r

need to get some real time gps type of stuff on the market with its own independent power that could last days.. ima buy one of those cell phones that could be tracked and leave it stashed in the car every night.

Yah that would be a good way to try and atleast retrieve the car before the thieves start the tear down of your ride. Good thing where i am at now, peeps dnt know how to jack ur car and the island is sooo damn small that it would just be dumb to even try and jack a ride.

I was comparing the size of this island to possibly cali.Island is big enough to cruise around. Lets just say if i drove around the whole island it would probably take me an hour to circle it.Google the island "saipan" and ya

Used blox Manifold (craigslist)$100
Dsm 450cc w resistor box(craigslist)$60
96 Mitsu Gst used turbo(craigslist)$100
Greddy Type S BOV($120)
Piping $60 (labor done by me)
Silicon connectors(atp turbo)$60
An fitting w/ all oil supply feeds and etc (atp turbo)$80
Walbro 255lph F. pump

As far as how it worked, dude it spooled really quick due to the small size and pulled all the way to 7k with no drop towards the end. me and a friend chipped my p28 and just ran a preset program that he had on his laptop and worked out great. As far as time slips i never got to do the 1/4 run but i did try it out at thunderhill raceway and it was a blast to drive, wouldve been better if i had a LSD to take the turns harder but it did good. Sleeper is what i tried to keep it but the the FMIC i was scared to spray.Used parts go a long way hehe

welcome.

i used to pull the ecu on my h22 coupe when i drove it and left it out...quickly realized that most hondas can run off of any ecu and most thieves bring a few so there wasnt much point...now if someone made a locking connector for the plugs...thats a different story
