Honestly, you can read up all day on this forum about how b16s smoke the LS's and vis versa. For me personally, I was just looking for a new platform, that is stock, not molested with reliability and most important ..fun. The b16a2 or any b16 in these cars ...just feel right. If you drive an LS powered hatch or civic in general, you know what im talking about. The b16 made my car feel like the car it should be, guess what im trying to say is that our eg's need a high reving, short gearing...motors. The ls was fun, and was quick..just was kinda boring to drive. Everyone will have their opinion on this though. For me, I love the swap, runs just great...just only thing is im trying to fix the coolant temp sensor, an it idles around 1500 ..think i need to replace the tps ...but other than that this thing pulls lsvtecs, wrx's, 350s, etc. Kept up with my friends sohc turbo..low boost ovcourse..an all i did was bolt ons.. ..just to put it out there, i sold the ls swap to my friend with another eg hatch, and we raced from a dig, roll..and i would just walk him...everytime..only things ive done are basic's...intake, header, exhaust, mani...hondata gaskets, chipped p28..clutch ..flywheel...the ls had same.......minus mani..and would pull 2-3 cars everytime.

To round it all up..i love the way my car feels all around...daily driving..short gearing...9k rpms....

On another note...I found a crashed 2000 si..and got the whole front clip for 1500...42k miles..lol...i was goin go hmotoronline, but got this instead..

im running obd-1..converted all the plugs...

need to clean the engine bay..shes dirty from the swap..lol......goin to take better pics..

im looking for itr interior and eg6 cluster...just putting it out there..lmk..

The newer wheels look soooo much better than the first set. Mexican lowrider style wheels do not go on civics... or anything made by Honda.
Im sick of seeing it. In the 90's the wheel fad was to get them as big around as possible. Now, people are fitting the lowest offset possible. Both extremes look retarded and hurt your cars suspension over time.

 

It looks much better now, but the white VC looked cleaner than the current. I guess you don't need the "I like poke" sticker anymore.
